Drilling Effector

IAS Corp builds custom drilling and milling effectors:


  • Machine Spindle Based light weight drilling and milling – sizes up to 15hp – drilling speeds to 3600rmp and milling/routing up to 12,000rpm
  • IAS Corp uses specially designed light Wight motor casing with rigid preloaded spindle bearing noses.
  • IAS Corp supplies Variable Frequency Drives that can synchronize with the robot for specialized cutting applications.

The example shows a high torque 12hp 1800rpm wood drilling application with a 6 inch deep hole drilled at 4 seconds.
